When you create an account we collect your email address and the username you choose. If you submit a list, we store the pizzerias you ranked and when you submitted. If you choose to share your location for the Near Me feature, we use it only to filter the leaderboard — we do not store your location data.
Your email is used to log you in and, if you opt in, to notify you when the leaderboard changes in ways relevant to your list. We do not sell your email. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly ask for them. Your ranked list contributes to the leaderboard score — this is the entire point of the platform.
If you choose to keep your profile anonymous when signing up, your votes still count toward the leaderboard but your username and list are not visible to other users. You can change this setting at any time.
We use Supabase to store user accounts and list data. We use Google Places API to verify pizzeria listings. We use Cloudflare to host and deliver the site. Each of these services has their own privacy policies.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing theboss@itspizza.com. You can update your list every 30 days. You can change your visibility from public to anonymous at any time.
